Hello again, remember me? Yes I know, it’s been a while. I won’t make excuses, I have so much to talk to you about to waste the energy or even words about life being insane or such.
Let me get right to it. Whatever it is “you do” – I wonder how it is you choose to do it. Each of us is blessed with unique gifts. When we work together, we can do great things. However, it occurs to me that not only should we use our gifts to the fullest, but also with honorable intent.
Let me explain.
About a year ago now I launched Create Art 4 Good. I started this blog as well as began writing the business plan. (a business plan!?! This must be serious!) Several artists have joined the mission and truly the ball is rolling. At times I find myself just trying to keep up!
It’s been a very interesting year. There have been surprises, disappointments, and countless successes. I’m not bragging…I’m just completely overwhelmed by the wonder of it all.
So, you might ask,”so what?”
To be truthful, I have tried to “make it” as an artist most of my life. I have learned many lessons along the way. I have been blessed with a great deal of success. However NOTHING has ever compared with the success of this last year of life.
Why?
I believe it is my intent.
Of course I want to support art and artists… That is part of the core of CA4G. However my main motivation is to Pay It FORWARD! To take care of others and make a difference. To make a difference and do it with art is the most incredible gift I could have ever asked for.
This is completely amazing to me.
I started Create Art 4 Good to utilize the talents I have been blessed with. it seems to me that it has been a huge risk to attempt this. However it doesn’t feel all that risky. Obviously there has been growth along the way. CA4G is a living mission that grows as it needs to. In my risk, I have found countless confirmations that I am doing the right thing.
I am blessed
It makes me ponder, perhaps you do too, if we take the risk to embrace the mission of our very soul (whatever that might be) how can we be stopped?
Art and service to others is my mission… It is written on my soul.
Take a chance to see what is written on yours and act on it.
Give it your ALL!
You won’t regret it. You will possibly change your corner of the world.
In peace,
Susan
